About this event

The Friendly Brothers Festival is a family-participatory cultural festival that modernly reinterprets the values of brotherly love, sharing, and consideration based on the tale of the friendly brothers passed down in Daeheung-myeon, Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. It features hands-on experience programs using the storytelling of the Friendly Brothers fairytale, as well as traditional games, family events, cultural performances, local food, and agricultural product markets. It is structured to allow people of all ages to experience local history and culture and understand the value of community. Representative tourist facilities of Yesan-gun, such as the Yedangho Suspension Bridge and Yedangho Monorail, are located near the festival site, making it a representative cultural tourism festival of Yesan-gun where you can experience both local culture and tourism. 1. Pre-ceremony events: Brotherly love singing contest, congratulatory performance 2. Official events: Opening ceremony, LED Tron dance, saxophone performance 3. Performances: Theme performance, bubble magic, fingerstyle guitar performance (featured on KBS Immortal Songs) 4. Themes: Family hands-on activities, practicing filial piety, traditional game experiences, fairytale storytelling-linked experiences 5. Always open: Daeheung Tavern, family rest area, food zone and experience booths
