To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the construction of the Namhansanseong Fortress walls, the 'Gwangju Namhansanseong Culture Festival,' the representative festival of Gwangju that re-examines the value of Namhansanseong where history and culture live and breathe, will be held for three days from September 18 to 20 at Namhansanseong Provincial Park. This festival is a meaningful occasion to reflect on the historical significance and cultural value of Namhansanseong, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, together with citizens. During the festival, various performances and stage programs harmonizing tradition and modernity will be held, along with historical experience programs where visitors can directly experience the history and culture of Namhansanseong, participatory programs for citizens, and an experiential art market. 1. Opening Ceremony: Opening performance with citizens to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the fortress wall construction. 2. Performances: Various performances by regional art groups, buskers, and popular singers. 3. Experience Programs: Programs to meet and enjoy nature and history throughout Namhansanseong. 4. Art Market: Experiential art market in connection with local workshops. 5. Food Zone: Food zone to enjoy the unique taste and representative dishes of Namhansanseong. 6. Visiting Library, Visiting Cinema: Meeting Namhansanseong closely through books and films.
