About this event

The Gyechon Hyu [Rest] Book & Music Festival is a newly introduced relaxation culture festival in Gyechon Village, which has long continued the value of art through classical music. Book, music, and nature are combined so that you can rediscover the meaning of 'rest' forgotten in the fast-paced daily life. In Gyechon, which embraces blue nature, classical performances, book programs, experience contents, local dining, and participatory workshops are held throughout the village. Greenhouses become small concert halls, parks become spaces where books and music meet, and tables in nature allow sharing of local flavors and stories. Beyond simply watching performances, visitors can experience total relaxation, filling their day at their own pace while staying in nature and art. The Gyechon Hyu [Rest] Book & Music Festival is a festival that contains the vision of the Gyechon Classical Art Village creation project, made together by local residents, artists, and visitors. 1. Main Programs - Hyu [Rest] Stage: Sept 12 (Sat) 13:00, Gyechon Romance Park - Greenhouse Concert: Sept 12 (Sat) - Sept 13 (Sun) 14:00, Greenhouse near Gyechon Village - Hyu [Rest] Book Concert: Sept 12 (Sat) - Sept 13 (Sun) 16:00, Gyechon Classical Park - Hyu [Rest] Night Concert: Sept 12 (Sat) - Sept 13 (Sun) 19:00, Gyechon Romance Park 2. Detailed Programs - Hospitality of Reading: Small participatory reading salons with about 10 people per session held throughout the village (schools, cafes, village halls) with 10 invited authors from various fields such as novels, poetry, and essays. - Hyu [Rest] Public Program: Various experience programs to share creation and tastes. - Hyu [Rest] Banquet: A storytelling-oriented dining program with professional chefs, providing a special stay-type healing experience where you can enjoy Gyechon Village's unique local food, gastronomy, and music together. 3. Other Details - Starlight Picnic Package Rental: Free rental of picnic packages for comfortable viewing and a sentimental picnic. - Food Market: Operation of an on-site food market for festival visitors and residents, providing various menus such as local specialties, snacks, and drinks.
