[About the Performance] The third act of 'Han-Na Chang's Daejeon Grand Festival', a festival of young musicians with outstanding talent and passion, begins. This year, under the theme 'Joy of Music', you can meet music as a companion of life holding human joys and sorrows. Artistic Director Han-Na Chang, who has led this festival for 3 years, presents a program condensing past artistic achievements and musical philosophies to conclude this season. After seeking 'Be Yourself!' two years ago and portraying 'Immortal Beloved' last year, the Daejeon Grand Festival finally faces the joy music brings, marking the finale of its grand journey. Centered around the most remarkable young masters in classical music, look forward to the most brilliant lineup ever made of top local performers and the high-level stage awaiting you. World top Norwegian trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth visits Korea. Praised for a 'lyrical and transparent tone that touches the soul', she presents a variety of pieces from Renaissance madrigals to familiar jazz by Gershwin and Kurt Weill on this stage. In addition, by changing the ensemble scale per piece from solo and duo to brass sextet, she plans to demonstrate the peak of brass instruments' expressiveness. In particular, local brass performers join this stage to unfold an even richer, golden emotional stage.
