[About the Performance] The third act of 'Han-Na Chang's Daejeon Grand Festival', a festival of young musicians with outstanding talent and passion, begins. This year, under the theme 'Joy of Music', you can meet music as a companion of life holding human joys and sorrows. Artistic Director Han-Na Chang, who has led this festival for 3 years, presents a program condensing past artistic achievements and musical philosophies to conclude this season. After seeking 'Be Yourself!' two years ago and portraying 'Immortal Beloved' last year, the Daejeon Grand Festival finally faces the joy music brings, marking the finale of its grand journey. Centered around the most remarkable young masters in classical music, look forward to the most brilliant lineup ever made of top local performers and the high-level stage awaiting you. Zlatomir Fung, who draws attention on the international stage with solid technique and delicate musicianship, presents the essence of the cello through romantic short pieces and modern masterpieces. Hear deep, poignant melodies in his own transcription of Chopin's Nocturne and Rachmaninoff's Elegie, as well as exotic and vivid rhythms in Schumann and Falla's folk song suites. Subsequently, Barber's Cello Sonata concludes the performance with explosive energy and dramatic atmosphere. You can look forward to Fung's musical individuality and flawless sound, reflecting his steady interest in new repertoires and musical interpretations. [PROGRAM] F.
