The Hwasun Red Cliff Cultural Festival is a local cultural festival held around the Hwasun Red Cliff (Hwasun Jeokbyeok) and Iseo Community Center in Iseo-myeon, Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do Gwangju Integrated Metropolitan City. This festival aims to provide various experiences and sights to local residents and tourists by utilizing the natural landscape and historical/cultural value of the Hwasun Red Cliff. Major programs include a Red Cliff walking program to enjoy the scenery directly, the GEO Environmental Music Concert to raise awareness of environmental importance, Red Cliff Wellness Time for mental and physical healing, experience programs operated in connection with local public institutions and organizations, and a market for Hwasun's special products. Additionally, an exhibition and award ceremony for the Red Cliff Youth Literature Contest and resident participatory programs (Iseo Women's Association, Life Improvement Association, etc.) will also be held. Free shuttle buses operate during the festival period, and approximately 5,000 guests, local residents, and tourists are expected to participate. 1.
