[About the Performance] Project Cool Tomato is a team formed by young people who wanted to expand their artistic world. The play <DOME>, the first work of our project, defamiliarizes the climate crisis based on SF imagination, allowing the audience to observe from a step away the burning Earth that threatens even immortal existences, paradoxically realizing that this issue is directly linked to common human survival. [Synopsis] After the Earth perishes, vampire writer Echo escapes to the alien planet 'dull'. Upon the editor's demand, Echo begins writing a cruel fantasy novel. In the novel's world, within the cold air of a controlled dome built by giant capitalist Icarus, upper-class people enjoy a fake paradise, while lower-class Kelvin miserably endures while assembling air conditioner parts. Under pressure from the editor wanting a more provocative tragedy, Echo's pen tip eventually drives Kelvin to extreme pain, and the worlds of the two people begin to intertwine in an unexpected direction. The character trying to break the controlled dome, and the writer who created him. Cracks gradually begin to form between the world in the novel and Echo's reality. At the end of the cruel novel Echo writes down, what is the real ending waiting? [Production Intent] The play <DOME> sharply exposes the climate crisis, capitalist class conflicts, and the hypocrisy of modern society that consumes others' disasters as dopamine. Standing on a time bomb called comfort, to all of us turning away from immediate reality, Echo and Kelvin break out of the controlled dome. And they desperately cry out toward the real reality outside the novel to face this burning reality straight on.
